On October 2nd, when Colonel Rimfire of the Looney Club in London announced that he believed cats were the smartest animals (after many of his plans were thwarted by Cool Cat), Grandma hoped to raise funds for a nearby children's park, betting that her Tweety could travel the world in 80 days and collect paw prints from 80 cats in the process. Sylvester still hopes to treat Tweety as his personal snack. When he thinks of other cats getting the bird first, he gets angry and vows to follow Tweety around the world and personally catch the canary; Neither of them knew that the thief was also present. Tweety set a route to Paris, but was blown by strong winds into the Swiss Alps where he got trapped, as did Daffy Duck, but Bugs Bunny saved them both. Tweety returned to Paris, where he made Pepe Le Pew mistake Sylvester for a female skunk. Tweety continued to travel to Venice, but became overweight after eating too many bird seeds. On a long boat, he faced many cats, but he defeated them and returned to normal. While trying to fall asleep in Egypt, he was chased to the grave by Sylvester and several other cats, but managed to escape. In the African jungle, he outsmarted two lions with the help of another bird. In the Himalayas of China, after rescuing a canary from a sacrifice, he befriended another canary named Aoogah (named after her ability to imitate horns). They were blown by more winds to Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Japan, and eventually boarded a ship bound for the United States. However, Sylvester caught up with them, but Hubby and Berti let him slide into the water. Tweety and Aoogah were able to save him, but ultimately ended up on a beach in Australia. Sylvester encountered a Tasmanian demon who chased after two canaries on his motorcycle, but ultimately fell into the sea. Tweety and Aoogah ride a windsurfing board to San Francisco. Sylvester hijacked a tram and chased after them, but ultimately arrived at Devil's Island, which angered Yosemite Sam, who seemed to be the tram driver. Two canaries safely took a train to Las Vegas, where they escaped from more cats. Afterwards, they will travel through more cities across the United States and eventually reach New York City. There, they tricked Sylvester into boarding a Concorde plane alone. Two canaries were swept away by an Atlantic hurricane and briefly washed up on an island, but they were smarter than more cats and escaped in the hurricane. In a bar in rural England, they discovered a thief and managed to outsmart him. Sylvester attempted to frame Tweety by impersonating his stolen passport with his flight license. He almost succeeded, but the real passport was in his hands, so he was arrested. Tweety and Aoogah thought they were one day late until they realized it was December 21st because they had crossed the international date line. They were able to return to London, complete their mission, and save the park. Tweety was even knighted by the Queen, while Sylvester was imprisoned.
