The Twisted Tale of Felix the Cat is an animated series produced by Film Roman for television, starring the classic cat character Felix from 1919. The program was broadcasted on CBS from September 9, 1995 to November 25, 1997. This program is a modern adaptation of an original drama series produced by Joe Oriolo, former assistant to Otto Mesmer, in 1958. His son Don Oriolo also participated in the creation of this series. In many ways, the drama returns to the silent era of short films with a surreal background and alternative character portrayal. Felix is also more like his original mischievous adult image, rather than the youthful and innocent image in the 1930s, 1950s, and 1988 films Felix: The Movie. However, it does contain some elements from the 1950s series, such as Felix's magic bag and the character Poindexter. The drama stars Thom Adcox Hernandez and is voiced by Felix the cat. However, in the later stages of the series, due to unknown reasons, he was replaced by Charlie Adler. The film was produced by Phil Roman and Timothy Berglund and is hailed as one of the most expensive animated films ever produced by the Roman film company. [2] Martin Olson and Jeremy Kramer. The main melody was composed by Don Oriolo, while the score and closing theme were composed and performed by the Club Foot orchestra.
