In 1876, Johnny Jameson (played by Dan Daley); Drummer; (Travel salesman) was the only passenger on the narrow gauge train of the Tomahawk and Western Railroad Company that crossed the Colorado Rocky Mountains for the first time. During the ride, the conductor told Johnny that some people, such as the carriage operator, wanted to see the railway franchise fail. Shortly thereafter, Dakota (played by Rory Calhoun), Trancas, and Gila, who worked for Colonel Dawson, the stage line operator in the region, caused a huge boulder to fall directly onto the train tracks. Engineer Terrence Sweeney (played by Walter Brennan) managed to stop the train in time, and then he and the crew got off the ship to move the rocks. Johnny decided to walk to Tomb Inscription Town and hitchhike with Trankas and Jira. In the Sheriff's office, when Johnny tried to report a train delay to Deputy Sheriff Chucky Jones (played by Charles Kemper), he was knocked down by Trancas. At the same time, American Marshal Kit Dodge is preparing to welcome the train in the neighboring room, and his tomboy and granddaughter with a knife, Kit (played by Anne Baxter), helps him. When they went to the warehouse, they were surprised by Trankas and Gila. Marshal fired at Trankas, but was injured by Gila. Johnny woke up and Kit suspected that he might also be one of these people. Although Chucky intervened on his behalf, she still ordered him to leave the town before sunset. Kit was represented by her grandfather as the Marshal of the United States, but due to injury, his grandfather is unable to travel now. She and an Indian companion named Pawnee (Chief Yowlachie) were assigned to escort the train to Tomahawk. Colonel Dawson ordered Dakota to join the convoy escorting the train and ordered an Indian scout, Black Wolf, to incite the local Arapaho people. Other gang members conspired to blow up the engine while parking at night. Only after he bought a ticket to leave the city did Sweeny know that there were no tracks laid for the next forty miles. Local railway entrepreneur Bi Xiaopu told him that the railway tracks were lost at sea on their way from England. Bi Xiaopu explained that as the train had to reach the Battle Axe to meet the requirements of the franchise contract, he had arranged for a team of mules to tow the high-speed train. Another condition is that the train must arrive at Tomahawk before the rapidly approaching deadline, with at least one paying passenger. Kit was unhappy to find out that the passenger assigned to her care was Sweeny. Johnny doesn't want to take the train anymore. When the locomotive (excluding the coach) departs under the traction of a mule and accompanied by various trucks, he is tied up next to the driver's cab. Long Time, a Chinese laundry worker (played by Victor Sen Yun), along with Mrs. Adelaide (played by Connie Gilchrist) and her dancers Anne, Ruby, Clara (played by Marilyn Monroe) and Julie, joined the team for washing the Tomahawk. A musician accompanied them with Pionola. According to the plan, Dawson's subordinates Bart, Charlie, and Fargo appeared at a nighttime station, claiming to be telegraph operators, repairing the line cut off by the Arapaho people there. Kit allowed them to sleep in the camp. Kit gradually softened his attitude towards Johnny. When everyone fell asleep, Bat and Charlie left, while Fargo threw the explosive stick under the engine. Johnny was sleeping next to the train, smelling the smell of a lit fuse and reminding others. Kit then shot and cut the fuse, paralyzing Fargo, but before he spoke, Dakota killed Fargo. After a while, a few miles away from the restart of the track, Bart and Charlie were placing explosives on a pier. Johny, Kit, and Pawnee are conducting reconnaissance ahead and stopping at the bridge. Bat and Charlie considered shooting them, but were later attacked and killed by Native Americans, and the explosives detonated prematurely. Kit, Johnny, and Pawnee were driven back to the train, which was subsequently attacked by the warring forces. Johnny recognized Arapaho Chief Crooked Knife, who had previously collaborated with him on a Western tour. After the war team was driven away, Johnny voluntarily made peace with him. He learned that he was carrying a large amount of fireworks for a long time and made a plan. He was welcomed by Bendao, who agreed to let the train pass safely. However, some brave people did not trust Johnny and demanded that he show a sign that he was a "big shot". Johnny fired a rocket, indicating that Kit and Dakota were setting off the remaining fireworks on a nearby mountain. The Native Americans were impressed by this. With the railway bridge now dismantled, Kit planned to dismantle and transport the 33 ton locomotive in sections, taking it over a mountain. At the same time, Dawson believed he had been hit twice, so he shot the Black Wolf. Then, he summoned his men to the final battle. Kit discovered that Dakota had destroyed an important water tower, and Dakota jumped onto the train, heading towards John. Ni pounced and had the firefighter start the engine at the muzzle, taking off at high speed along the track. Kit jumped into the cabin, but was knocked down by Dakota. Johnny resurrected when he and Dakota fought at the top of CA
